I was tickled pink when I saw this shirt.

For those of you who aren't fans of the Superman mythos, to banish Mr. Mxyzptlk, an imp from another dimension who likes to wreak havoc on the world (last seen on film played by Howie Mandel on Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,) you need to get him to say his name backwards.

Which is where this shirt comes in handy. For banishing imps back to their home dimensions. :)

More orchids

Here is a design based on the photograph of the orchid in my window. I really like the blueness of the sky, and think it really pops in the photograph.

So it occured to me...

...that I haven't really showcased my designs. Other than linking to Laura's blog post. So I've decided to show you some of my other designs. My other designs are more flower and nature based. For instance, the mug seen here is a photoshopped picture of an orchid that I've been able to keep blooming in my city apartment for the last 3 months. I ordered this mug myself because I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but it's actually quite lovely. :)

Back to real life

So this internet shopkeeper thing is just a fun project to capitalize on my creativity and utilize a part of my brain I don't use on a daily basis. Plus, it's so not what you'd think a typical resident would be doing, so I can use it to great effect in conversation. :)

Grand Rounds is coming up. I've gotten like 40 articles off the web--I just have to read them, put together a powerpoint presentation, and then give an hour long talk.

No wonder I'm procrastinating.
